What is SIGEP?
SIGEP (Integrated Team and People Management System) is a cloud platform developed by GUFORA to manage employer information, workers and monthly payroll for companies in Costa Rica.
When will it be available?
SIGEP is in development and does not have a launch date yet. If you join the waitlist, we’ll let you know as soon as it’s available.
Who is SIGEP for?
For employers who are individuals or legal entities, from small businesses to large companies and large taxpayers, and for accountants who prepare payroll for several employers.
Do I need to install anything?
No. SIGEP is software as a service (SaaS): it runs in the browser and your data is stored in the cloud, in a separate environment for each organization.
Can I manage several companies?
Yes. From a single account you can manage payroll for several companies. Each one has its own space, with its own workers, users and permissions, and their information never gets mixed. It’s ideal for accountants and firms that handle payroll for several employers.
How do you protect my data?
Information security is built into SIGEP from the design stage: each organization works in a separate environment, access is controlled with users, roles and permissions, and changes are logged. We handle personal data in accordance with Costa Rican law, in particular Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data.
